Trail Marker Background : The Wall of Light is a public art installation containing 20,000 marbles created as a collaborative effort with local architect Adrian Baynes with animations and LED imagery by designer Graeme Crowley and software by Paul Hudson. A pone number would allow the public to text messages to the wall which were on display after 7pm. http://www.bbc.co.uk/coventry/culture/stories/2003/05/wall-of-light.shtml . Since 2006 the piece has been permanently switched off with no further chance for renovation. Ludic Rooms have attempted to revive and update the piece with little success.
